Mirrors for symphony orchestra

Podobny obraz

„Mirrors” are directly inspired by a contemporary composing technique – ‘limited aleatoricism’ invented by Witold Lutosławski. In this work, I made some clear references to his „Venetian games” – starting from the title, by the use of unique scales and ending on limited aleatorism.

Piece, written for the International Composition Competition “In modo di Lutosławski” won the Third Prize and has been premiered at the Concert Hall of The Polish Radio Philharmonic Orchestra of Witold Lutosławski in Warsaw, Poland by the Symphony Orchestra of the Józef Elsner School of Music conducted by Prof. Piotr Wajrak.

Score of this piece is available at Donemus Publishing catalog.
